The Mongolian Hamster (Allocricetulus curtatus) is a species of rodent in the Cricetidae family. It is found in China and Mongolia. They are known for eating vast quantities of rice and many consider them as pests. The largest Mongolian Hamster ever recorded weighed over 25 kilograms and was given a Chinese nickname that roughly translates into English as "He who has no face".
